This is what Beaujolais is supposed to taste like – fruity, fresh, and easy to drink. "Griottes," means "Morello Cherry" in French, and there is a compelling flavor of fresh red fruits on this wine. A perfect accompaniment to a variety of dishes, but also a great bottle to share with friends. 50% of the Gamay grapes undergo carbonic maceration with stem inclusion and there's a lovely touch of spice from that process!
