Danielle and Zane have poured their hearts into creating a welcoming and warm atmosphere that fosters a sense of community and appreciation for food and drink. The market is intended to function as a corner store (albeit a fancy one) for Pittsburg residents who enjoy good food and cooking at home.
About the Proprietors
Doctorbird Market is the vision of husband and wife team, Zane and Danielle Fiala, both veterans of the Bay Area hospitality industry. Zane is a sommelier certified by the Court of Master Sommeliers, with over twenty years of experience in restaurant service and wine sales. Danielle is a chef and culinary instructor whose resume includes Silver Oak Cellars, the Meadowood Napa Valley Resort, as well as numerous beloved East Bay restaurants.
