Wanderjack Fresh Hop WC IPA, Breakside (4pk)

Born from Breakside’s 10th-anniversary collaboration series and teaming up with the legendary Tyler Brown and his Barley Brown’s crew, Wanderjack’s fresh-hop iteration elevates the IPA experience by using hops plucked straight from the bine—rushed to the kettle within 24 hours to preserve that ephemeral, botanical vibrancy. Crafted with Strata, Mosaic, and Azacca’s fruit-forward punch, anchored by a whisper of dank Simcoe, it showcases modest bitterness, an exceptionally lean malt bill, and a robust ABV that delivers both body and structure. The fresh-hop approach imparts a bright, green, and herbaceous character—an aromatic kiss of essential oils that traditional dried hops simply can't match—and ensures this seasonal expression truly captures the direction of contemporary West Coast IPA in the 2020s.

Our Berkeley location is 2,000 sq ft with a patio. Get ready for more of our NW-style sour ales, super dank hazy IPAs and uber-quaffable clear beers! We have 16 taps, to-go beer, and a rotating food truck schedule. We are family friendly - even if you’re a pup parent! Kids and well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome. We allow outside food as well.
