About the Cidery
Bend Cider Company is a family-run cidery in Tumalo, just outside of Bend, Oregon, founded in 2019 by Kelly and Tammy Roark. What started with experimental batches from foraged apples has grown into a boutique operation known for dry and semi-dry ciders infused with a botanical twist—think Mandarin Juniper, Huckleberry Ginger, and Acai Spearmint alongside a crisp, classic Dry Apple. Each can features striking wildlife artwork by local artist Sheila Dunn, tying the brand’s identity to the landscapes and ecosystems that inspire it.
More than a cidery, Bend Cider is a community gathering spot. The hand-built tasting room and garden offer a welcoming, family- and pet-friendly setting with live music, local art, and a relaxed bring-your-own-food vibe. True to its values, the company commits a portion of sales to environmental education, reinforcing its mission to give back to the land while creating ciders that are as thoughtful and creative as they are refreshing.
