Solula Plantain Crisps are a delicious crispy, crunchy, irresistible snack also known as tostones. They may be new to you, but their history is long and colorful. In the making of our Solula Plantain Crisps, we support local farmers and the communities in which they live.
Simple ingredients: fresh green plantains, sunflower oil and natural seasonings
Sliced: Green plantains, fresh from the fields, are peeled and thickly sliced.
Smashed: After partially cooking, we smash plantain slices flat to create more cooking surface to draw out flavor.

Tostones (“tow-stone-ayz”)* are the chips that plantain-growing families have created for their own crunching pleasure for generations. Unlike common plantain chips that are small and lack flavor, tostones are created with a special batching technique that creates a bigger, crunchier, tastier chip.
Green plantains, fresh from the fields, are peeled, thickly sliced, cooked, smashed and then cooked again to crispy golden perfection. These extra steps draw out a unique nutty flavor and elevate the humble plantain to a lighter, crispier, irresistibly salty and delicious next level.
