This wine shines with an intense ruby red color, hinting at its youthful energy. The nose bursts with aromas of ripe black cherry, blackberry, and plum, complemented by earthy undertones of crushed rocks, dried herbs, and a dash of tobacco and black olive. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied and smooth, offering a juicy core of black cherry and cassis, balanced by a refreshing acidity and soft, sweet tannins. Hints of cola, blood orange, and subtle floral notes of violets and marasca cherry add complexity and elegance. This wine is a delightful representation of Sicily's winemaking tradition.

About the Winery
Masseria del Feudo is a historic family-owned estate which was established in 1906 by Salvatore Cucurullo when he acquired a significant portion of the ancient fief from the Branciforti Princes. Today, the fourth generation of the Cucurullo family, siblings Francesco (current wine maker) and Carolina, manage the estate, blending traditional practices with modern innovation.
Spanning 110 hectares, the estate is dedicated to organic farming and features 15 hectares of vineyards, planted to indigenous grape varieties like Nero d’Avola, Inzolia, and Grillo, as well as international varieties such as Syrah and Chardonnay. In addition to its vineyards, Masseria del Feudo produces peaches, nectarines, plums, apricots, and high-quality extra virgin olive oil from Nocellara and Carolea olive trees.
The estate’s winery, housed in historic buildings, includes a microvinification line for experimental batches and air-conditioned aging rooms. Committed to sustainability, the Cucurullo family emphasizes environmental responsibility across all operations.
Masseria del Feudo also offers guided tours and tastings, inviting visitors to experience their organic wines and other estate products while exploring the vineyards, orchards, and olive groves. This approach highlights their dedication to preserving Sicily's rich agricultural heritage.
