Muskateller is known for its floral and fruity characteristics, and you’ll detect flavors of citrus, peach and apricot, lychee, and rose petal, as well as a distinctive perfumed aroma of lime blossoms. This wine is light and crisp, with a refreshing amount of prickly acid, and a perfect balance between fruit and acidity.

Predominantly made up of sandstone soils, the terroir provides excellent drainage, allowing the roots to grow deep. Poor in nutrition, the vines are forced to struggle, which leads to higher quality grapes. Warm days with cool nights give the Muscat grape excellent aromatics. While still maintaining the fresh acidity.

About the Winery

The Siegloch Estate Winery is a family-run operation located in the Württemberg region of Germany, specifically in the village of Winnenden. The winery has deep roots, with vineyards originally based in Cannstatt before the Siegloch family moved the operations to Winnenden in the early 1990s. The winery is now managed by brothers David and Markus Siegloch, who took over after their father passed away in 2014. Both brothers are highly trained in viticulture, with David completing his studies at Geisenheim University, a prestigious institution for enology, and Markus following suit with similar education.

They are known for their natural, hands-off approach to winemaking, with spontaneous fermentation, extended lees-aging, and minimal intervention during the winemaking process. They also produce their wines unfiltered and use no fining agents, which contributes to the authentic and expressive nature of their wines.
