Paladini Cioppino is a pasta sauce with a long and storied history firmly grounded in the early days of San Francisco's fisherman's wharf. Cioppino is an Italian version of seafood soup. Traditionally, the fisherman would make a large pot of soup with what was left at the end of the day. San Francisco cioppino normally included Dungeness crab, some white fish, clams, oysters, and mussels, and any combination of these. The sauce itself is all-natural and rich in flavor. Heat the sauce, add seafood, and perhaps some white wine.
