About the Winery
High in the hills of Monferrato, the growers of Vinchio-Vaglio have been tending their vines together since 1959, pooling small family plots into one cooperative dedicated to the art of Barbera. The region’s calcareous clay soils and rolling slopes give the grape its trademark brightness and lift, while the winemaking stays refreshingly straightforward—fermented in stainless steel, aged without heavy oak, and bottled with its natural verve intact.
Piccolo Goccio, meaning “little sip,” is a special collaboration with importer Oliver McCrum, whose love of clean, transparent Italian wines finds perfect harmony here: a small drop of pure Piedmont character, crafted for everyday joy.
