About the Brewery

Wondrous Brewing Company opened its doors in May 2021 at 1306 65th Street in Emeryville, California, bringing thoughtful craft beer to a city that hadn’t seen a modern brewery in decades. Founded by brewer Wynn Whisenhunt—an East Bay native with formal brewing training from Chicago and Munich and experience at breweries including Lagunitas and Sante Adairius—Wondrous blends intentional technique with a creative spirit rooted in community and exploration.

From West Coast-style hoppy ales to crisp lagers and occasional barrel-aged projects, the brewery’s focus is on small batches that inspire curiosity and connection. Its taproom and biergarten have quickly become local gathering spots, without sacrificing the quality and consistency that put the brewery on the map. Wondrous Brewing embraces experimentation and tradition in equal measure, always pushing forward while staying grounded in the craft’s fundamentals.
