About Fancypants Baking Co.
Fancypants Baking Co. sounds like it should be all frosting, sparkle, and maybe a small tiara. Thankfully, the cookies are much better than the name has any right to promise. Founded in 2004 by Maura Duggan, Fancypants is a women-owned bakery built around a very reasonable idea: packaged cookies should still taste like someone with standards made them.
Their specialty is thin, crispy cookies with real butter, real eggs, and recognizable pantry ingredients, which gives them that familiar homemade-cookie flavor without the disappointing “why does this taste like shelf stability?” aftertaste.
