About the Brewery

Founded by brewers Zack Frasher and Amy Heller, Shred Beer Company opened in Rocklin in 2023 and almost immediately became one of Northern California’s most decorated young breweries. Just months after opening, Shred earned three medals at the Great American Beer Festival and was named 2023 Brewery and Brewer of the Year in its production category. Hoppy beer remains the specialty—from crisp West Coast IPAs to lush, intensely aromatic hazies—but Shred’s award-winning cream ale and cold IPA proved early on that the brewery’s talents extend well beyond one lane. That remarkable debut was no fluke: Juice Master won gold at the 2025 World Beer Cup, Micro Blaster earned another gold, and the flagship Shred IPA took bronze in 2026.
