About Pip's Heirloom Snacks

Pip’s Heirloom Snacks began with a curious kernel and a family’s dream. In 2012, while helping his sister move, Jeff Martin and his sister Jen unearthed a small bag of heirloom popcorn kernels—one of the few things left unpacked. Intrigued by how crisp, flavorful, and different they tasted, they traced those kernels back to a farmer in Indiana who preserved them through generations. Jeff, Jen, and Teresa joined forces to found the company, resolving to bring that rare, bold character of heirloom corn to everyday snacks. Over time, Pip’s evolved beyond popcorn—expanding into cheese balls, crackers, and crunchy twists—all crafted with real, non-GMO ingredients, clean oils, and, of course, heirloom corn grown by family farms. Today, Pip’s is more than a snack brand: it’s a commitment to tradition, biodiversity, and the belief that better snacks can connect us back to the land and to each other.
